Candidate Eligibility Requirements

The Board of Trustees is comprised of seven positions. The seven trustees serve staggered three-year terms. All DISD residents who meet eligibility requirements specified in Board Policy (BBALEGAL) may run for a position in the Board of Trustee election. Three (3) board positions will be up for election November 3rd, 2026. 

The first day to file for a place on the General Election ballot is July 17th, 2026.

Candidate Application and Candidate Information Packets are available for pickup at the Damon ISD front office.
